Order photo behind acrylic glass

Your photo is printed behind acrylic glass (also known as plexiglass). The glass is typically a few milimeters thick and more light-weight than real glass. Because of the slight distance between glass and the picture, there is an additional depth effect.

There are two printing techniques for producing acrylic glass pictures:

• Direct print:
  The picture is printed directly on the glass. This makes it more durable.
• FineArt:
  The picure is printed on a photo paper, which is then attached to the glass. This allows for better image quality - the picture is more sharp and has a higher colour depth.

Usually, companies will tell you which technique they use for their products, or give you the choice. Acrylic glass with direct print is generally cheaper than fine art.
